Chef’s Challenge Dinners
Chefs were challenged to two unique dinner experiences led by two chefs in each event using products sourced only from our market. One at Machimá led by Chefs Jorge (Machimá) and Massimo (Palé), and one at Jitomate Gourment led by Chefs Gerard (Jitomate Gourment) and Emmanuel (Emmanuel’s Kitchen).
These Market to Table events are made to create out-of-the-box gourmet food experiences that will entice our faithful market goers, as well as our community, as we branch from an in-market experience, to out-of-market through our local food culture. We hope this will encourage and stimulate business for all parties involved, benefiting directly our farmers and participating restaurants. A testament that when we collaborate together, we accomplish so much more!
Both events feature well-ventilated outdoor eating, great local music bands and an original Lake Chapala Farmers Market-sourced-dinner designed by renowned local chefs collaborating together to create beautiful, healthy, and delicious food.
All Covid protocols will be followed.
Reserve in advance via email at farmers@marketchapala.com, on Tuesdays at the Farmers Market or at participating restaurants.
